The people that made it have barely touched the game since 2011, and there won't be anymore. Also, most importantly in this case, fifa manager 14 is the last instalment, and its exactly the same as 13 but with the newer database (legacy version they call it). The same frustrations exist on the tactics side, they seem to have no impact on a game really, and you could be solid defensively one minute and lack 5 the next. It's all about player level, which are numerical. Bid enough and you'll always get a player. The thing is, the football side of things is poor. You have a personal life, can extend facilities, stadium (including designing it yourself), overseas shops, bank loans and investments, overseas youth centres, merchandising, all sorts. Fifa Manager has many more backroom options.
